I empathize with the foot issues--the nerve damage in my left foot didn't evolve into a cyst, but it was still pretty darn painful. It's amazing how such a tiny little bit of one's body can limit movement and activity so dramatically!
I wrote Senator Markey to thank him for voting "present" rather than yes or no on Syria because he felt much more information is needed before making a momentous decision like the one they were being asked to make. As a constituent I felt he represented my position on the issue perfectly.
