oh i'm not saying that it makes sense. even if my idea that she had to be older in the show to allow for all the sex/nudity is right, even she was an adult she -still- had every reason to be intimidate or scared by drogo because of the language and cultural barriers, before even taking into account every other horrible thing she'd experienced to date. it didn't have to be a rape scene, and the fact that it wasn't in the books was kind of awesome. i was just wondering if they were taboo flipping for the sake of there still being a taboo broken the night of dany/drogo's wedding, but i agree that it made the rest of their relationship pretty goddamn ridiculous compared to how it was in the books.
but yeah iirc cersei admitted to lancel (who i still really miss on the show) and the kettlebacks (who yeah i think turned on her after being tortured?) but not jamie because then it would screw tommen's claim on the crown.
i hadn't read the official explanation for getting rid of dario! do you have a link to that? i assumed it was because the actor got a movie deal based on his exposure from the show and went for the $$ (actors on GoT are surprisingly not well paid all things considered) since original mountain ditched the series for the Hobbit and i feel like someone else ditched the show for a higher paying gig. i know illyn payne left to go tour with his band because he's dying irl
